FAQ's

Can I really complete my degree in 22 months of instruction?
UE's Accelerated OL
Program builds on the college-level work you have already
completed. In traditional programs, students need to take a
minimum of twelve credits per semester in order to attain full
time status. However, adults who go to evening college may only
be able to take two classes, or six credits a semester. Each
class may meet once or twice a week, and last for 15 weeks. At
this rate, it would take a working adult student four or more
years to complete the last two years of college.
The OL
Program is designed to meet the needs of adults who wish to
pursue a college education while working. We understand that
adult students lead busy lives. Often they are full or part-time
employees, and are parents as well. Therefore, UE's OL Program
courses are accelerated, meaning that the work is condensed into
six week periods. Classes meet for four hours, one night a week,
leaving students free to complete the remaining coursework
whenever it is most convenient for them.

approximately 22 months.

What is a practicum?

web based program provides an opportunity to integrate the
practical application, theories, and practices introduced in the
semester’s coursework. Student design and implement a
problem-solving research project fostering development of
organizational skills and recognition of their value in
addressing real organization problems or situations. This
practicum will be worked on throughout the semester.
How does a cohort program differ from a traditional program?
You

students who enroll in and complete each course together as a
group. You will work with the same group of students throughout
the duration of the program. A cohort consists of approximately
12-20 students.
